40+ students run 10k for MacMillan Cancer Support

Over 40 Year 9 and Year 10 students took part in a 10k run around the sports track on Friday to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. Despite the hot weather, they persevered and raised a significant amount for charity. Through sponsors for the run, a bake sale and additional funds raised on their GoFundMe page, the students raised a total of £416. An incredible effort.

The event was orchestrated by two of our students, Mia and Laura, who had this to say: “We would like to thank you all for your support in making this event successful. We know it can be a hard time for people who go through things like this and we appreciate the time and effort that you have put into it. A massive thank you and well done to all involved."
