End of an era for Year 11s

We said a fond farewell to our Year 11 cohort this term, with Mrs Jeffries hosting the 2024 Leaver’s Assembly.

The emotional event gives students the chance to sign one another’s shirts, hear goodbyes from Mr Knowles and Head of Houses, and to reminisce on the last five years of their lives.

Students were given the opportunity to send gratitude postcards to members of staff, submit their favourite photos from their THS journey, and listen to our very own rockstar Leighton, as he performed apt classics like Oasis’ Stand By Me.

We wish our students the very best in the next chapters of their lives, whether they plan to venture into the world of apprenticeships, attend a local college, or return to us in September as a Sixth Form student.
