Baking a Difference for International Day of Trans Visibility
Students have hosted a bake sale to raise awareness and donations for International Day of Trans visibility; an event which raises awareness and support for members of the transgender and non-binary communities
Mr Cartwright, one of our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Advocates commented: "Today is an important day to celebrate and show our Trans and Non-binary students, staff, and the wider community our commitment to always being a safe space here at Tupton Hall School.
"As a former student and now member of staff at Tupton Hall, I am extremely proud of our school community in continuing to move towards a more equitable place which aims to celebrate everyone.”
"If you or your child ever have questions surrounding Trans or Non-binary identities, you can always contact your child’s form tutor in the first instance, we have a brilliant House Support provision who work with Heads of House, and the Safeguarding team, also myself and Miss Mason as the School’s DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) advocates. Education often clears up misconceptions and anxieties, and we will always do our best to answer any questions you may have."
